    This Core Boot Camp is a combination of Spinning (Cardio), Pilates (Core) and Body weight calisthenic (Cardio and Core) type exercises. The boot camp is broken up into 3 different 20 minute components. Your whole body will be trembling and you will be energized for the rest of the day.

    What is Pilates?

    Pilates is a method of exercise that was developed over 75 years ago by Joseph Pilates. Over his lifetime PilatesJoseph Pilatescreated over 500 exercises and machines which assist the individual to strengthen the body with control and precision. It combines the use of breath and focus while simultaneously increasing muscle strength and flexibility. The exercises focus on strengthening the body’s core muscles (abdominals, buttocks and back muscles). It has been found to be very effective in alleviating back pain which is caused from degeneration of the spine and/or muscle imbalances. It is also a valuable way to rehabilitate after a hip, knee or shoulder injury or surgery.
