Do I have to be fit already to get started?
Rita's Hamilton Dundas and Ancaster Bootcamp is an outdoor/indoor interval training program designed for everyone. Her boot camp fitness program combines cardio and strength training in one session to maximize your time. Bootcamp will constantly challenge you by offering you consistent and positive motivational support. No workout is the same. The RESULTS that you will achieve, place this program in a class by itself.
No matter what your fitness level, you will be challenged, and you will have accountability to not only yourself, and Rita but also your group. This program targets weight loss and toning, with a large emphasis on the nutritional program. No quick fixes, no pills, just old fashioned hard work (exercise) and proper eating habits (not dieting). Your program consists of 3-45 min. workouts per week. What you do with the other 166 hours of the week is VERY important!
Bootcamp requires a true commitment to yourself, your trainer, and your group.
What should I expect from your boot camp program?
Each day is different at your Hamilton - Dundas bootcamp.
With most programs, your body eventually adjusts and you reach a plateau. With Rita's Hamilton women's bootcamp you will be constantly challenged. The program is designed for all levels of fitness. Each group includes women who have never worked out, marathon runners, and everyone in between. You give 100% of your effort.
Bootcamp gets you out of the gym and into the fresh air for a workout everyone can participate in, reap benefits from, and enjoy. This is not a dance class, but rather hard work through athletic training. Body composition, measurements, body weight, and fitness testing are done at the beginning and end of the 4 week session to help you gauge your results.
Cardio & Strength Training
With Cardio & Strength Training you train outdoors for 1 hour. You work at your own level but always give 100%. The cardio intervals include sports specific drills, military drills, weight work, body weight work, and band work.
The group size can vary from 12 to 24. On inclement weather days your instructor will decide if your session will be held outdoors or indoors.
The nutritional plan is geared toward healthy eating, not dieting, to help develop healthy eating habits for life. There are no quick fixes, no gimics or magic pills. You must become physically and mentally fit, lead a healthy lifestyle, and work hard to lose weight and keep it off.
